The Fracture Clinic provides exemplary patient care, playing an important role in providing you with comprehensive care for fractures and trauma of the musculoskeletal system. Patients are usually referred to the fracture clinic from the Emergency Department and occasionally by their Physician.
Led by orthopaedic surgeons, the multidisciplinary health care team ensures that you have the right treatment for your injury. In addition to fractures, we also care for patients with soft tissue injuries such as damage to tendons and ligaments, and orthopaedic post-operative follow-up visits. Almost all patients are seen within a week of their injury. If you have an injury that needs to be treated by a particular specialist then you may be asked to attend on a specific day.
