Continuing Medical Education Calendar | Bermuda Hospitals Board
Continuing Medical Education (CME) offers a wide range of learning opportunities for physicians, nurses and allied health professionals in the hospital and in the community. These programmes are designed to keep pace with advances in medicine, technology and research, and changes in the healthcare environment. A calendar of learning lunches, classes and other events is posted below. Please check back regularly for updates.
Date/Time: 9:30am to 5pm on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 December 2023
Location: MWI Social Centre, Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute
Courses may be held virtually as indicated by COVID-19 regulations or by request.
The goal of Mental Health First Aid is to provide people with the resources to help those experiencing a mental health problem and to guide them to the appropriate professional help. For example, you may encounter an individual in the community, perhaps at work, who you believe may be experiencing symptoms of depression. This course will help you to approach this individual and will give you the tools to discuss your concerns as well as help them seek appropriate professional help. The course costs $100 and is offered as a two-day programme, from 9:30am-5pm on both days. Participants will be provided with a certificate indicating that they are trained in Mental Health First Aid. Please complete the registration form linked below.
