The BHB Pharmacy Department is staffed by a diverse team of professionals, contributing our knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe, appropriate, efficacious, effective and cost-effective pharmacotherapy.
Our clients include:
- inpatients at KEMH and Agape House
- MWI inpatients and outpatients
- residents receiving long-term care in the Long Term Care Unit and community group homes
- patients receiving non-hospital-based outpatient services at the Urgent Care Centre
The KEMH outpatient pharmacy service is provided by People’s ACW retail pharmacy.

KEMH outpatient pharmacy services transferred to People’s ACW in December 2016. All dispensing responsibilities, including special clinic and subsidy programmes formerly performed by the BHB Outpatient Dispensary, are provided by People’s ACW pharmacy and the terms of their programmes honoured.
People’s ACW is a full-service retail pharmacy carrying a wide range of products, including health and wellness, personal care, beauty, gift and seasonal items, and snacks.
