BHB Traffic Advisory UPDATE: No through road at KEMH on 23 September

UPDATE Monday 21 September 2026: The road closure slated for Tuesday 22 September has been postponed to Wednesday 23 September.

Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB) advises the public that there will be no through road access on the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital campus between Point Finger and Berry Hill roads from 7am to 2:30pm on Wednesday 23 September 2026.

The closure is necessary to facilitate the delivery of materials for internal upgrade works in the Imaging Services Department.

Vehicular access from Point Finger Road will end at the Acute Care Wing visitor parking lot and ambulance bay areas.

Vehicular access via the Berry Hill Road entrance will end at the General Wing entrance.

The areas will be cordoned off. Please observe erected barriers and directions from personnel onsite.

BHB apologise for any inconvenience this may cause the public.

No through traffic at KEMH on 12 June

Monday 10 June 2024: Bermuda Hospitals Board advises the public that there will be no through traffic on the campus of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital (KEMH) between Point Finger Road and Berry Hill Road from 7am to 12pm on Wednesday 12 June.

The closure is necessary to facilitate a crane lift of an air conditioning unit.

People will be able to access the Emergency Department, the main ACW entrance and the ACW visitor parking lot from Point Finger Road.

Access from Berry Hill Road will stop at the Botanical Gardens gate to KEMH.
